“Jackie is amazing! I started with her after a lifetime of chronic pain and stiffness due to genetic hip issues. After hip surgery five years ago, I saw a physical therapist for 8 weeks. She eventually released me and told me that I would never have complete mobility on my right side and that there was nothing more that could be done for me. I had such debilitating mobility issues that I couldn’t sit on the floor, get up off of a chair without assistance or bend over to pick anything up. I honestly felt hopeless at times and delayed seeking help because I feared what I thought was a lost cause. A friend with similar issues recommended that I see Jackie on a one on one basis as to lessen the intimidation factor. When I first met her, she assured me that it wasn’t a hopeless case and slowly introduced me to various forms of yoga and stretching. She also addressed the stress in my life and my sleeping issues by giving me breathing techniques. Soon after starting with her, I was feeling so good about myself that I began seeing her twice weekly. Jackie knows my body. She knows what I am capable of and pushes me to my limits, but never beyond. I trust her implicitly. Because of Jackie’s patience, knowledge and understanding, my life has changed forever. I will highly recommend Jackie.” -Joan F.

“I’ve been a yoga practitioner and teacher of Ashtanga yoga for many years. Overtime I developed a micro tear in my rotator cuff. This has caused tremendous weakness in my arm for years.
To alleviate this injury I’ve tried traditional Physical Therapy, MAT (Muscle Activation Therapy), sports massage, Thai massage and strength work with personal trainers.
I have to admit I wasn’t sure if Yoga Therapy would be much different. To my excitement, working with Jackie Rosenheim has swiftly taken my healing process to a higher level.
Jackie’s insight is sharp. She observed how I was doing physically, from the rotation of my joints to my Ayurveda body type. Jackie has taken me through meditations, breath and visualization with movement to help me connect my mind and soul to where I am physically, followed by homework!
So I continue to work on my muscle memory. And now I know what to focus on through my yoga practice, 6 days a week! Thanks Jackie!” -Julie R.

"I have scoliosis and a great deal of pain and tightness in my spine. Jackie has given me just the right stretches that release my back. The scoliosis won’t go away, but I find my sessions with Jackie have given more relief than going to a chiropractor or massage therapist” -Stephanie

"Jackie’s yoga classes are enormously healing. I have been an athlete all my life. Now, at age 64, my hip is beginning to deceive me. I have been to doctors, physical therapists and acupuncturists, but none have been as helpful as a yoga class with Jackie. Jackie combines therapeutic yoga with intuition in a system that addresses my specific bodily complaints. She has also given me a storehouse of movements that strengthen, stretch and lubricate, that I can practice alone during my busy schedule. The classes are enjoyable and enlightening. Have you ever taken a walk and shifted your notice to a small wonder – one that you customarily pass by? A trembling leaf or blade of grass? When I work with Jackie, every movement is experienced with wonder. A simply cat-cow becomes a slow study – and enjoyment – of the distance between each vertebrae. Jackie’s classes not only help me; they open doors. " -Nancy L.

"This morning I was again reminded how nice it is that Jackie provides thorough guidance that is just right...Jackie has a nurturing spirit and it shows itself in her teaching style. I leave every one of our sessions feeling relaxed and renewed.”

"I never would have imagined that yoga can help my depression and anxiety. Jackie takes the time to listen to my experience and then offers different types of breathing exercises, guided meditations or poses. I always leave feeling more human.”
